On December 1st, the Internet search giant Google executives on Monday said the company plans to invest directly in one or more renewable energy projects, which is expanding its investment in clean energy technology initiatives part of it.
Climate and energy program director Dan Reicher said from the perspective of technology investments it is the company’s natural move.
Google’s venture capital and charitable organizations Google.org has invested in two start-up of geothermal power.
Reicher said that Google is considering investing in renewable energy projects, and even shares one or more companies, but he declined to disclose how much money the company will spend and invest in which technology.
