Do you know the difference between primary and second battery?
The primary battery can just only discharge one time, but the second battery can be rechargeable again and again. When discharging a rechargeable battery, both of its electrode volume and structure cause a reversible change. So the design of the rechargeable battery must be adequate to adjust these chemically changes.
As it is known to us the primary battery’s internal structure is simpler, it doesn’t need to accommodate reversible volume changes. These primary battery have larger quality ratio and volume ratio than the rechargeable batteries, however it has much bigger impedance, therefore the load capability is low.
Furthermore self-discharge of a primary battery is far lower than secondary one.
